Succession Certificate Procedure
Where a person died & he had movable property like bank accounts, insurance amount, stocks, bonds, Shares etc legal heirs of deceased required a succession certificate. After the death of deceased any company or institute is not authorized to withdraw or transfer this money to legal heirs. Then legal heirs of deceased required a succession certificate. For getting a succession certificate legal heirs have to file a succession certificate suit in civil court. When civil court will issue the succession certificate to legal heirs then deceased money will be issued by bank , insurance company or any other company where deceased deposited the money.
Procedure Of Succession Certificate
Documents Requirements
1. Death Certificate of deceased
2. Photocopy of ID Card Deceased
3. Copies of ID Cards of Legal Heirs
4. Copies of birth certificate if Legal Heirs are minors.
5. Certificate/Letter issued by Bank or any other company where deceased deposited the money.
Note : Original documents required & exhibit when statements will be recorded.
It is pertinent to mention here that you can file succession certificate application legal heirs vs public at large if you consider that there is need to make more parties in the application then you can moreover file succession certificate application against them.
There are two ways of filing a succession certificate in court first one is A single legal hair can moreover file succession certificate with the permission of other legal heirs who will record their statement in the favor of him/her.

Publication in Newspaper
When succession certificate application will be filed in the court then court will issue an order of publication of an advertisement in newspaper. Its an announcement for other legal heirs if they are not aware to this succession certificate application.
Ex Parte Proceeding
If after publication ad in newspaper no one come to court then court will issue an order of ex parte proceedings. Where legal heirs have to record statements even local commission or civil judge will exhibit the original documents with the application.
Final Arguments
After recording the statements of legal heirs & witnesses court will issue an order of final arguments. Where counsel (Lawyer) of the legal heirs will assist the court.
Issuance of succession certificate
Now court will issue succession certificate in the favor of legal heirs of succession application except minors. Minors share can be withdraw with the permission of guardian court.
